Only 1 week left till my induction…ahhhhh, can’t believe it, it’s crazy! It’s fast approaching and I can’t wait to meet my little angel, gift from God. Things are pretty much the same, just more anxiety about pushing her out and how I’ll react with her but I have been waiting this day for so long.

I had a 3lb weight gain this week alone, WOW! But baby is healthy and as long as she’s good I’m okay to gain 50 if need be. I am almost 2 cm dilated and 50% softened so we’re still good to go on next Wednesday!

I'm a 27 yr. old vegetarian momma of a sweet angel, and is finally pregnant again, and unfortunately living with PCOS. We've been trying for what seems like forever, but I know there are many women out there that have been struggling with this much longer than we have and for that I'm sorry! We've been married for 8 years and it gets harder and harder to deal with seeing all of our friends grow a belly...so we're excited to see mine finally grow!

Our Timeline:

04/11/03:
We were married and wanted children!
06/03:
Missed 2 periods and went to the doc for confirmation, BFN.
07/03:
Went to another doc for more info, sonogram showed multiple cysts covering my ovaries.
08/03-10/06:
Multiple hospital visits for erruption of ovarian cysts and unbearable pain.
11/06:
Laparoscopic surgery, no Endometriosis as previously thought. HSG, clear tubes, no blockages. Possible Adenosis, nothing ever developed from this "diagnosis".
01/07-06/08:
Visits to same doctor who performed the Laparoscopic and her final conclusion was "I have no idea what is wrong with you", and was left as that.
06-07/08:
I found a new OB/GYN and hoped for the best. The wait to get into her office was around 2 months.
08/13/08:
First visit with Dr. Vu (current doc) and explained my thoughts of possibly having PCOS and she cut me short and said "YES, I believe that is what is wrong". FINALLY!!! (an answer we could work with). Prescribed Metformin (500mg) and Provera (10mg) to start my period b/c I hadn't had one in a few months.
10/06/08:
No ovulation, upped Metformin (1000mg)
10/25/08:
Cycle 1 w/Clomid (50mg), Metformin (1000mg), Provera (10mg), B6 (200mg), PNV
10/08:
Hospital visit w/Ovarian Cyst pain.
11/18/08:
Progesterone test: 0.8 (should be >15)
11/24/08:
Cycle 2 w/Clomid (100mg), Metformin (1000mg), Endometrium (200mg), B6 (200mg), PNV
12/16/08:
Progesterone Test #2 - 18.4!!!!!!! I finally o'd!
12/27/08:
Cycle 3 w/Clomid (150mg), Metformin (1000mg), Endometrin (200mg), B6 (200mg), PNV
01/16/09:
Progesterone Test #3 - 25!!
02/01/09:
Cycle 4 w/Clomid (100mg), Metformin (1000mg), Endometrium (200mg), B6 (200mg), PNV
02/23/09:
1st. Apt. w/ new RE
03/09/09:
Cycle 5 w/Clomid (100mg), Metformin (1500mg)
04/04/09:
Cycle 6 w/Clomid (100mg), Metformin (1500mg)
05/02/09:
Cycle 7 w/Clomid (100mg), Metformin (1500mg)
05/30/09:
Cycle 8 w/Clomid (100mg), Metformin (1500mg)
07/01/09:
Taking a much needed break!
11/01/10:
AF comes and I say 'what the hell...let's try Clomid again'. Fertilaid, Fertilcm, Clomid (100mg), Metformin (1000mg)
11/17/10:
I o'd big time and I cramped for like 4 days...maybe?!
12/15/10:
BFP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This has never happened :)
12/16/10:
1st Beta @ 3260!
12/20/10:
2nd Beta @ 4285...and I start to freak out!
12/22/10:
1st Ultrasound found no fetal pole/no heartbeat :(
12/27/10:
2nd Ultrasound found sac shrinking :(
12/28/10:
We lost baby Garcia @ 8 wks., saddest day ever recorded in life itself.
03/05/11:
BFP!!!!!
03/07/11:
1st Beta @ 45
03/10/11:
2nd Beta @ 175...doubled in 35 hours!
03/17/11:
3rd Beta @ 4948...still doubling in 35 hours!
03/29/11:
1st OB apt.
04/02/11:
Hospital Visit, HR: 153 bpm, HCG: 76,305
04/8/11:
1hr. Glucose Test - PASS w/ a 104!
4/26/11:
11 wk. ultrasound & checkup
